NCEA Dip(Arc. Tec.) BSc(Hons) MCIAT C.Build E MCABE

Director

Niall began his career in architectural practice in London in 1986, working on retail, restaurant and high-end residential design. After gaining experience in several high-profile architectural practices, Niall founded healycornelius in 2004. Niall has regularly led the design team on several luxury residential developments in Central London, delivering high quality residential refurbishments and new build projects.

Having a passion for working with clients to explore the potential of the project conceptually, Niall helps guide the process to deliver creative solutions with a natural sensitivity to the brief, while encompassing both the practical needs and business targets of the project objectives. This has included working in parallel with brand development teams to create architectural concepts to embody the brand values including delivery of the L’Occitane flagship stores in Bluewater, Kings Road, Kensington High Street and Regent Street London; The Sanctuary in Covent Garden; The Bread Boutique in Chelsea; So Japanese in Soho and Sozai Japanese Cooking School in the City of London.

Niall regularly represents the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) at industry trade shows and conferences, including speaking at a number of Homebuilding and Renovation Shows, The International Property Awards, SelfBuild 2017 & SelfBuild+ Virtual in 2020 in addition to participating in Ask the Expert at Grand Designs on many occasions. Niall has also represented CIAT on the Houzz and Property Regeneration Show podcasts.

Niall also contributes to the development of the discipline as a senior lecturer at the University of East London and visiting lecturer at the University of West London on their CIAT-accredited Architectural Technology Honours Degree programme.
